Northern Air Hospital Radio - Dave Bee Obituary

It’s with great sadness to hear of Dave Bee’s passing on the 9th May 2018 aged 55.

Dave joined Northern Air Hospital Radio in 1982 for a couple of years, leaving to further his career in entertainment. He had great success as a DJ, also becoming the compere at the Talk Of The North. He spoke with pride about some of the artists he worked with Bob Monkhouse, Ken Dodd, The Drifters and so many more.

The NHS is 70 this year - and we want hospital radio to join in

The NHS is turning 70 on 5 July 2018. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.
