The Trustees of the Hospital Broadcasting Association, the organisation representing hospital broadcasting services across the UK, have today:
- reconfirmed HBA’s mission and aims to support and represent hospital broadcasters across the UK;
- committed to continuing to deliver the Annual Conference and National Hospital Radio Awards;
- devised a realistically-staged implementation of a set of deliverables aimed exclusively at hospital broadcasting stations, their volunteers, and supporters; and
- announced their plans to implement a rationalised organisation structure through which the above will be delivered.
This follows a strategic review facilitated by Julian Lomas from Almond Tree Strategic Consulting, and funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s “Big Assist” programme.
The documentation here should be read in conjunction with the announcement on the HBA website.
