The HBA is proud to present member stations and their volunteers with Long Service Certificates.
The Hospital Broadcasting Association is proud to organise an annual awards ceremony to highlight and celebrate the high standard of hospital broadcasting in the UK. Entries are encouraged from all member stations and judging involves a panel of experts that includes representatives from professional media organisations.
Awards for Stations
When we receive an award for one of our HBA Full Member Stations we want to make sure that it is delivered safely and personally. The HBA trustees and executive enjoy taking the time to present these certificate and celebrate with the volunteers in our member stations because without them, there is no hospital radio.
If you are an officer or committee representative for your station and you want to apply for a Station Long Service Certificate then apply for your Station Long Service Award here.
Awards for Volunteers
Whether it is for a single station or a long list of them, volunteers who have spent more than 10 years dedicating to ward visiting, studio maintenance or presenting get awarded by the HBA for the time that they give to keep stations running.
Volunteers are not always patient facing (or indeed patient-voicing) and sometimes the long-serving volunteers may not even visit the studio on a regular basis.
If you are an officer or committee representative for your station and you want to apply for an Individual Long Service Certificate then apply for your Volunteer long Service Award here.
