Radio Stitch was established in 1976 and broadcasts to 2 hospitals.

Radio Sunderland For Hospitals

Radio Sunderland for Hospitals is a registered charity that broadcasts specialist and personalised programmes to the patients of the Sunderland Royal Hospital 24 hours per day.
One of our most popular programmes is the patient request show “Ward Call”.
Football is also very popular we broadcast the whole of every Sunderland A.F.C. home game – something we've been doing since the 1953-54 football season!
There are a variety of tasks involved in running Radio Sunderland and we are always looking for new volunteers to help keep us "on-air".

Radio Tyneside

Radio Tyneside was established in 1951 and now entertains patients in 3 hospitals, 24 hours a day. We also broadcast as a Community radio service on FM to the Newcastle and Gateshead community promoting health and wellbeing.
Approximately 40 people are involved in the day-to-day running of the station. Volunteers are always needed; you should contact the station directly if you are interested.

Radio Warneford

Radio Warneford was established fifty years ago in December 1973 and now broadcasts to hospitals managed by the South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust in Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa as well as to the local community via our 24-hour internet stream. Approximately 30 people are involved in the running of the station. Volunteers are always needed for a wide variety of roles, both behind the mic and behind the scenes, so please get in touch with us to arrange a taster evening or find out more information.

Radio West Middlesex

Radio West Middlesex, the working name for Radio West Middlesex Hospital Broadcasting, was established in 1967 and broadcasts to West Middlesex University Hospital, 24 hours a day.

Radio Wey

Radio Wey, the working name for Hospital Radio Wey, was established in 1965 and broadcasts to 2 hospitals, 24 hours a day.
Approximately 70 people are involved in the day-to-day running of the station. Volunteers are always needed; you should contact the station directly if you are interested.

Radio Wishing Well

Radio Wishing Well was established in 1977, and went on air in 1982. We broadcast to Trafford General Hospital, which is where the National Health Service was introduced in 1948.

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd, the working name for Arfon Hospitals Broadcasting Organisation, was established in 1976 and broadcasts to Ysbyty Gwynedd.

Edinburgh Hospital Broadcasting Service was established in 1962 and broadcasts to 2 hospitals, for a total of 21 hours each week.

Rookwood Sound Radio

Rookwood Sound Radio, the working name for Rookwood Sound Hospital Broadcasting, was established in 1987 and broadcasts to the University Hospital Llandough, 24 hours a day. Approximately 35 people are involved in the day-to-day running of the station. We produce and present a wide range of programming to our hospital patients , staff and visitors as we are part of the Hospital Community.
