HBA Training Network Launches

The HBA Training Network is intended to provide a series of events across the UK, giving training in all aspects of running a hospital radio station.

After some successful trial regional events in Southern England and Wales, our first National Hospital Radio Training Day will be staged on Saturday 17th October 2009.

2009 National Hospital Radio Training Day

This national event will provide hospital radio volunteers with five hours of training in one of two aspects of running their station:

Become a better committee member

This will provide existing and prospective committee members with a good understanding of the role of the committee, and help them to become more effective managers of their station.

Improve your presentation skills

This will enhance presenters? on-air skills, including general radio presentation, script and news reading and interview techniques.

The training will be provided by professionals who are experts in their subject with many years of experience.
